RAJBIR SEHRAWAT, J. (ORAL) –
1. The petitioner has filed this petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order of transfer dated 13.04.2022 to the extent it relates to the transfer of the petitioner from Chandigarh to Lucknow; along with certain other prayers.
2. At the outset, the counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage the petitioner would be satisfied if respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 20.04.2022 (Annexure P-8) served by the petitioner, within some time bound frame.
3. Notice of motion.
4. Mr. Gaurav Goel, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-Bank and has submitted that the Bank is not averse to expeditious disposal of grievance of the petitioner.
5. In view of the above, respondent-Bank is directed to take a conscious decision upon representation dated 20.04.2022 (Annexure P-8), within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
6. The petitioner shall not be relieved from his duties till the decision of the aforesaid representation. However, this order shall not be taken as order favouring the petitioner or respondents. The matter shall be considered by the authority independently.
7. The petition stands disposed of with above said direction.
